General description

This Makita DUX60Z Brushless Twin 18v / 36v LXT Cordless Split Shaft Multi Tool is designed for landscape maintenance operations. It features a range of quick-fit attachments, including a Brush Cutter, Linetrimmer, Cultivator, Pole Saw, Hedge Trimmer, and Lawn Edging Tool. The pole extension allows for greater reach when using the Pole Saw and Hedge Trimmer. This tool is powered by two Makita 18v Lithium-Ion batteries in series, providing a powerful 36v DC motor drive system that delivers performance comparable to petrol engine machines while being more sustainable with low noise and emissions.

Installation

Attachments are easily fitted with a tool-less slide joint coupling.

Secure the attachment in place using a simple clip-lock mechanism.

To add an attachment, push it into the female connector until it locks.

To remove an attachment, press the red button on the shaft and pull it out.

Usage

Features a soft start system to protect the operator from initial power loading.

Includes variable speed control for different applications.

Equipped with an electric brake and overload protection.

Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the tool if the rotation speed suddenly decreases.

The On-Off button with Auto-Off turns the power off if the trigger is not activated for 60 seconds.
