The Makita Energy Kit includes two 3.0Ah 18V LXT Li-Ion Batteries (BL1830) and a DC18RC Fast Charger. The charger features a cooling fan and Active 3 Controls, which help maintain optimal charging conditions by regulating voltage, current, and temperature. This cooling system blows cool air into the battery, extending battery life and accelerating the charging process. The BL1830 batteries utilize high energy density technology, are lightweight, and have no memory effect, making them superior to other battery chemistries.
