The Makita RP001GZ02 40V XGT Brushless 1/2’’ Router is a powerful cordless router designed for professional woodworkers and DIY enthusiasts. This low vibration machine has a impressive list of specifications such as soft start, variable and constant speed control, electric brake for your safety along with an anti-restart function to prevent accidents.
The router features a soft brake that gently stops the machine which reduces the risk of damage to the material you’re working on. A hard brake can sometimes damage your work – this removes that worry.
When used as a trimmer, it has a plunge capacity of 40mm, and, thanks to the brushless motor, produces up to 31,000rpm no load speed. For working in difficult lighting conditions, the RT001GZ Router Trimer, includes a LED work light with both pre-glow and after glow functions to ensure you are able to place the tool in the right place.
Dust and debris are forced out of the machine and away from the cutting area so that you can maintain a clear view of the work surface. The router trimmer can also connect to Makita’s AWS which will automatically start an external dust extractor so that your materials are free from dust and debris. RP001GZ02 Features:
