General description

The McAlpine STW8-R 50mm Water Seal Resealing Shower Trap with Multifit Outlet is a plumbing component designed to connect the waste pipe from a shower to the drainage system. Installed below the shower tray, it is commonly used in both residential and commercial plumbing installations. The trap features a 50mm water seal that prevents foul odours and gases from entering the living space while also trapping debris to prevent blockages. Its resealing feature ensures hygiene by creating a barrier that prevents wastewater from re-entering the shower unit. The multifit outlet allows for easy connection to various waste pipe sizes and types, making it versatile for different plumbing applications. Additionally, it includes a removable grid for easy cleaning and maintenance, and an integral cleaning brush for maintaining the internal membrane.
