Description

General description

The McAlpine A10AV is a bottle trap designed for use with a wash basin or sink. It features a 75mm water seal and an adjustable inlet, allowing it to be easily fitted to a variety of waste pipe sizes. The trap includes a 1¼" multifit outlet, making it compatible with a wide range of plumbing systems. Bottle traps are commonly used in plumbing to prevent unpleasant odours and gases from entering a building through the drainage system. The trap works by holding a small amount of water in the trap's curved section, creating a barrier that prevents gases from passing through. The trapped water also helps to prevent the buildup of debris and blockages in the drain. The McAlpine A10AV is a high-quality bottle trap that is easy to install and offers reliable performance. Its adjustable inlet and multifit outlet make it a versatile choice for a range of plumbing applications.
