The McAlpine STW12-RB is a resealing shower trap designed to prevent unpleasant odors and gases from entering the bathroom through the waste pipe. It features an 80mm water seal and a multifit outlet, accommodating various plumbing configurations. The resealing mechanism ensures that the water seal is maintained even if the trap dries out or the water in the trap evaporates, effectively preventing foul smells and the build-up of harmful gases such as methane and carbon monoxide.
