1) 1) Reliable circuit protection, without residual current function (without earth leakage)This 4P 10 A miniature circuit breaker (MCB) is a modular protection device designed to be installed in an electrical distribution board or control cabinet. It provides reliable protection for circuits and equipment against the most common faults: overloads and short circuits. Its compact design and simple implementation make it a very widely used solution in final distribution, both in residential and commercial buildings. Important: this is an MCB without residual current protection (without “earth leakage / residual current tripping” function). It offers a good balance between continuity of service and level of protection: it helps avoid nuisance tripping while reacting quickly in the presence of a genuine fault. In the event of overheating, repeated tripping or changes to the installation, it is preferable to diagnose the cause (overload, short circuit, connections, insulation fault) rather than increasing the rating without assessment. Installation is generally carried out on a DIN rail in a modular board. Upstream power isolation is imperative and the installation must be carried out by a qualified person in accordance with good practice. For complete protection including the risk of current leakage, combining it with a residual current device (RCCB/RCBO) is the most appropriate solution.
