Excellent lamp, good value for money but would have looked better with a grey flex to match the lamp stand.

All things considered this lamp is a good buy. I got it at a special price so was really good value as at least it is metal. It’s straight and the light given off is quite good. Also good height for behind the sofa. I would have preferred one without the wire showing though. But for the price it is good. It is awkward to get one you can reach he switch on, because as if it’s on the floor, I have to drag a massive recliner sofa out to get behind to reach the switch, So it will do till I get something better but I know I’ll have to pay a fair bit more.especially to get all my requirements suited. Ie tall, reading light. Soft light option and switch within reach from the front without moving sofa.
