The engine locking tool must be removed from the timing cover before starting the engine. Failure to do so could damage the flywheel ring gear.1. Remove the two bolts and locking tool from the flywheel housing. There is no need to remove the pin.
2. Install the inspection cover to the flywheel housing with the two bolts. Tighten the bolts.
