General Description This water quality tester is designed to test the pH and chlorine levels of swimming pools and spas. It is easy to use, requires no chemicals, and displays accurate results quickly. Lightweight and compact, it is easy to carry. Ensure the probes are clean before use. Operation Before using the tester for the first time, adjust it to your pool or spa water: Test the water with a conventional liquid test kit and record the chlorine level. No adjustment is required for pH. To test the chlorine level: Position the needle at the setting point, insert the probes into the water up to the black band, and wait for the needle to stabilize for an accurate reading. To test the pH, turn the dial to "pH" when the probes are in the water and wait for the needle to stabilize before reading the pH. Other information: Do not immerse the probe in liquids other than pool or spa water. Store the tester in a dry, cool place. Turn the switch to the off position when not in use.
