Converts HDMI signal to VGA. Resolutions up to 1080p. Note: Not compatible with HDMI ARC, macOS, and game consoles. This cable is not bidirectional: it works from HDMI to VGA (from an HDMI computer to a VGA monitor), but not from VGA to HDMI. This cable not only allows audio output, it must also be connected to a display.

No external power required, plug and play.

This adapter converts audio to video via the 3.5mm jack input adapter.

This is not a bidirectional cable, digital to analog outputs. For example, a laptop with HDMI output to a VGA monitor/projector with input, but not others.
