It helps clean hard-to-reach areas such as walls or oven edges. Replacing the edge sweeping brush module helps maintain the Roomba's peak performance. Remember to clean the side sweeping brush regularly. Failure to do so may result in inefficient operation of the machine or even damage to the module. Replacing the side brush module is very easy. You only need a screwdriver! Loosen the side brush screw with a screwdriver or a coin and remove the side brush. Loosen the 5 screws holding the bottom cover with a Phillips screwdriver. Unclip the battery to remove it from the robot. Loosen the 2 screws securing the side brush module. Remove the side brush module. Install the replacement side brush module and tighten the 2 screws securing the replacement side brush module. Insert the battery and bottom cover. Install the side brush and the side brush screw.
