The soft silicone rubber resists crushing and wear. If the suction cups are deformed, soak them in hot water for about 2 minutes.

It can adhere to a larger surface area than a standard suction cup; smooth surfaces include ceramic, stainless steel, glass, mirrors, refrigerators, washing machines, and metallic paint. Other smooth surfaces can also be used.
