Extension drain spout for 1000-liter water tanks. This accessory is specifically designed for 1000-liter plastic tanks (also called IBCs or GRVs) used for rainwater harvesting, storage, and consumption. It attaches directly to the valve of your 1000L tank with an S60X6 fitting. Specifications: Material: Polypropylene and polyethylene Inlet: Threaded (female) S60X6 Outlet: Extension tube - inner diameter Ø 40 mm (outer diameter Ø 46 mm) - grooved outlet Note: The outlet is not threaded. You will not be able to screw other fittings onto the extension. Caution: the outlet is grooved, not threaded. You will not be able to screw other fittings onto the extension. My tank valve must be S60X6 threaded. S60X6, also called artillery thread, is the most common thread in France. D1 = Valve outlet outside diameter (including threads): Between 58 and 61 mm. P1 = Thread spacing: 6 mm. If you are unsure, please contact us by email, attaching front and three-quarter view photos of your valve. This item is not compatible with cam valves (see opposite). The number of threads is insufficient on a cam valve and does not allow for a watertight seal. Note: All measurements are manual; please allow for a 1-3cm error.
