The HVAC Nitrogen Regulator is a durable brass diaphragm and piston nitrogen regulator. Discharge pressure is 0 to 800 psi. Ideal for brazing, welding, bleeding and pressure testing air conditioning and refrigeration systems, filling shock absorbers and many other uses. A nitrogen regulator reduces high pressure gas or liquid from the tank to make it more usable. Without a nitrogen regulator, it would be impossible to control the flow of liquid from the pressure tank, which would be released all at once under the effect of the high pressure. The regulator is equipped with a CGA580 inlet fitting, 1/4" male flare outlet fitting, self-resetting safety valve (not designed to protect the downstream system), and an easy-to-read 50mm (2") pressure gauge. Pressure gauge from 0 to 4,000 psi.For precise and smooth discharge pressure adjustment, a large brass T-handle with stainless steel pressure adjustment screw and anti-seize regulator ring are available.
