Description
General Description The photoelectric non-magnetic mechanical edge finder is an essential tool for traditional milling machines and machining centers. It allows for precise measurement and adjustment of the workpiece's X and Y axes. When it makes contact with the workpiece, a red indicator light illuminates and an audible signal sounds, ensuring efficient and intuitive operation. Technical Specifications Name: Edge Finder Process: Uncoated Large end: 20 mm / 0.8 in Small end: 10 mm / 0.4 in Total length: 160 mm / 6.3 in Battery: 3 * LR1 (not included) Operation To use the finder, stop the spindle and control the probe so that it slowly approaches the workpiece face. When the probe makes contact with the workpiece face, the LED indicator lights up and a short beep sounds. At this point, the distance between the center of the spindle and the workpiece is 5 mm. Other Information To ensure measurement accuracy, do not touch the probe directly with your hands. If you are not going to use it for an extended period, remove the battery to prolong its life. Replace the battery immediately if its power is insufficient. Avoid short circuits or corrosion caused by cutting fluid entering the battery.
