 Designed to join two lengths of cable, or to form an eye or loop on a cable. It's the best way to secure cables and ropes. Made of polished 304 stainless steel, burr-free, durable, rust- and corrosion-resistant, and suitable for outdoor equipment. Consists of a U-shaped bolt, a forged saddle, and two nuts. The two layers of cable are placed in the U, and the bolt is tightened for a secure connection. The anti-slip mesh in the center of the saddle effectively increases friction. Color: Silver. Surface: Polished. The correct way to attach the cable ties is as follows: 1. Apply the first cable clamp a base width from the end of the wire rope. The base or saddle should bear on the live end of the rope – U-bolt at the short end. Tighten the nuts securely. 2. Attach the second clip as close as possible to the loop. Tighten the nuts, but not tightly. 3. Attach the remaining clips evenly spaced between the first two clips. Tighten all nuts completely. Apply the initial load inspection nuts and remove them. Tips: 1. Tighten the nut with a sleeve/nut. Drills can be used, but be careful not to overtighten as the wires may bend. 2. Make sure to bend at least 7.6 cm and 1.9 cm of wire. 3. Do not use plastic-coated cable. 4. Do not install the stool at the ends of the cable. Only the dead ends of the cable are U-shaped; broken bolts will not affect the breaking strength of the lifting cable. 5. Do not reuse the clips. 6. Inspect all clips periodically.
