General Description

A threaded insert provides a threaded receptacle for a piece of wood, similar to a dowel. These threaded inserts are inserted into a pre-drilled hole with a screw; the outer projections engage with the wood, preventing the insert from turning or loosening.

Technical Data

Material: Galvanized carbon steel for durability and corrosion resistance.
Thread: External thread with internal hex socket, tighten with an Allen key.
Advantage: Unlike cylinder and T-nuts, it can only be installed from one side of the workpiece.
Assortment: Includes 6 different nut sizes for various projects.

Compatibility and Accessories

Requires a pre-drilled hole for installation.

Installation

The pre-drilled hole must be deeper than the length of the threaded nut.
Ensure that the screw-in portion extends beyond the end of the nut in the workpiece.
