Product information
Description
General Description: This pack of 40 black PP welding rods is a versatile welding material, ideal for welding plastics such as PP, PE, PVC, ABS, etc. It offers excellent wear resistance, seven times greater than steel and four times greater than Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene). With very high adhesion resistance, its surface barely sticks to other materials. Its main advantages include high wear resistance, high impact resistance, cold resistance, self-lubrication, and electrical properties. It has excellent cold resistance, maintaining its ductility even at the nitrogen liquefaction temperature (-196°C). Its corrosion resistance is also remarkable, with very stable chemical properties, resisting corrosion from various corrosive environments as well as organic solvents within a certain temperature and humidity range. Technical Specifications Characteristics: Wear Resistance: Seven times greater than steel, four times greater than Teflon. Bonding Resistance: Very high, surface barely adhering to other materials. Properties Used: High wear resistance, high impact resistance, cold resistance, self-lubrication, electrical properties. Cold Resistance: Good ductility at -196°C. Corrosion Resistance: Very chemically stable, resistant to corrosion from corrosive environments and organic solvents. Material: PP (polypropylene) Length: 25 cm Available Colors: Black Applications: Welding of car casings, windshield panels, scooter fairings, motorcycle inner panels, PP tank repairs, PP pipes, etc. Packaging Dimensions: 25x8x3 cm Packaging Weight: 108 g Accessories Included: 40 * Plastic Welding Rods Usage Preparation: Ensure the plastic surfaces to be welded are clean, dry, and free of dirt. Welding: Use a welding gun or hot air torch to heat the welding rod and the plastic surfaces to be welded, then fuse them together. Finishing: Allow the welded area to cool and solidify before applying stress. Instructions Safety: Wear appropriate protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves) when welding. Surface Clean: Plastic surfaces must be clean and dry for a quality weld. Precautions: Use the welding gun or hot air torch according to the manufacturer's instructions to avoid damaging the materials.
