General Description

The PEACEFAIR PZEM-017 energy consumption meter communication module is designed to measure DC voltage, current, active power, frequency, and energy consumption.

It is available in 10 different kits to meet various needs.

This module uses a UART to RS485 communication interface with a baud rate of 9600, enabling communication via the ModbusRTU protocol.

Installation

For installation, an external 5V power supply is required, which must be greater than 100mA. When the input test voltage is less than 7 V, an independent 5 V working voltage must be supplied via the USB port. It is important not to use your PC's USB port as a power source, as this could damage your computer. Usage: The module is used to measure various electrical parameters. Data is read via the RS485 interface, and the voltage threshold can be set to trigger an alarm when the measured voltage exceeds specified limits.
