EASY TO USE: Simply insert the probe into the soil to a depth of about 10 cm, aiming it at the densest part of the plant's rhizome, and take a measurement in 5 to 10 seconds, taking several readings to confirm the result. Switch to PH/TEMP if necessary. The product will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of inactivity, or press and hold the button℃/℉ to turn it off manually.
Practical advice: If the soil being tested is extremely dry or contains too many nutrients, it will not be possible to test the PH value. You should sprinkle a little water into the soil before testing and test after half an hour.
