General Description
The high-quality PP plastic plant rooting box is designed to facilitate plant propagation. This robust device is reusable for years and allows for the cultivation of different root sizes thanks to its three variants: small (5 cm), medium (8 cm), and large (12 cm). The box is equipped with safety caps that hold the shells in place, ensuring safe use.Technical Specifications
- Material: High-quality PP plastic
- Root bead diameters: Small 5 cm, Medium 8 cm, Large 12 cm
Installation
- Remove the bark to a width of approximately 2-2.5 cm where rooting is required.
- Place moist moss or garden soil in the plant's root growth area.
- Wrap the filled growth area around the removed bark.
Use
This air-stratification method allows roots to grow directly onto branches, resulting in a more mature plant more quickly. It is ideal for indoor and outdoor trees, such as roses, fruit trees, and difficult-to-root species like magnolias and camellias. Propagation results are usually visible within 6 to 8 weeks of installation.Other Information
- Air layer pods are safe for the mother plant and cause no damage, as only a small branch is used for rooting.
- The success rate of this method is higher than that of traditional propagation techniques.
