Description

General description

The Polypipe clip rails system is designed for use on solid or screeded floors, making it ideal for both new builds and renovations. This system includes 16 clip rails, each measuring 1 meter, providing a total length of 16 meters. The clip rails are suitable for 15mm and 18mm pipes and can be easily clipped together to create longer lengths. The underfloor heating pipe clips into the rails at 200mm centers, allowing for a serpentine pattern installation.

Installation

Secure the clip rails to the insulation board using clips (PB02911).

Push the clips into the insulation at 200mm centers to ensure the clip rail is fully secured and lays flat.

Fit the clip rail across the room at 1m intervals, leaving sufficient space around the perimeters for pipe returns or connection lengths back to the manifold.

Use approximately 1m of clip rail per square meter of floor area.

Usage

The underfloor heating pipe clips into the rails at 200mm centers.

Bend the pipe at 180° at the end of each circuit, ensuring the edge of the bend is parallel with the adjacent circuit.
