Description

General description

Smartseal Porcelain Sealer is a hard-wearing, breathable protective coating designed for modern internal and external porcelain tiles. It is also suitable for use on ceramic wall and floor tiles, helping to prevent general soiling and surface staining. While not a cosmetic product, it enhances the natural colors of the tiles and leaves a subtle wet look sheen once dry, making cleaning and maintenance easier.

Average coverage: 10 - 20 m² per litre, depending on surface texture and porosity

Application temperature range: 10° to 23°C

Installation

Always apply to a test area or spare tile first.

Only apply to completely dry and clean surfaces.

If a sweep-in pointing compound has been used within the last 6 months, clean the porcelain with Smartseal Residue Remover prior to application.

Apply a single thin, consistent coat using a microfibre cloth, microfibre flat mop, or paint pad.

Avoid application marks and excess pooling of sealer.

Allow a minimum of 2 hours drying time before walking on.

Full water-resistance is attained after 24 hours.

If using externally, do not apply if rain is forecast within 8 hours.

Usage

Suitable for use on porcelain and ceramic tiles.

Strictly a single-coat application.

Can be used externally on patios and for walls and floors internally.

Ultra-durable sealer for long-term protection.

Ready to use, quick-drying, and easy to apply.

Other information

Store in cool, dry conditions out of direct sunlight in the original container only.

Use within 6 months of purchase and within 3 months once opened.
