- Lightweight: Lightweight and compact, easy to carry. With a hole for convenient hanging. Ideal for simple operations to test water pH and Cl2, eliminating the need for chemicals or extra work. It doesn't require too many steps. Lightweight and easy to carry, keep your pool/spa water safe, comfortable, and corrosion-free.
Setup Points: Before first use, set the tester for the pool water or hot spring water to be tested in the following order:
1. Test the pool water or hot spring water using traditional liquid testing tools;
2. Record the chlorine gas reading for later use (1.5 PPM);
3. No pH adjustment is required.
Finding the tester's setting point:
A. Insert one 1.5V AA battery into the battery compartment in the handle (positive side up).
B. Hold the tester in one hand and the test stick in the other.
C. Insert the cleaned metal rod into the water until it reaches the black position.
D. Use the metal rod to gently stir the water.
E. While the metal rod remains in the water, adjust the knob on the front of the watch toward CL until it stops moving. Then slowly adjust it to the right until the pointer indicates the reading of a traditional liquid test tool (e.g., 1.5).
F. Remove the test stick from the water, being careful not to move the knob.The pointer will slide to the right and stop on a letter between A and E. This letter is the setting point.
Note: Before each chlorine test, the meter must be set to the "setting point".
Testing pH Value: The recommended chlorine level for pool or hot spring water is 7.2 to 7.8. A) Leave the test stick in the water and adjust the knob to pH until a beep is heard (the battery must be removed when reading the pH value). B) Wait for the needle to stop moving, then take a pH reading. C) Gently dry the test stick, insert it into the slot on the side of the tester, and store it.
Testing Chlorine Level: The recommended chlorine level for pool or spa water is 1.2 to 1.7 ppm. A) Set the pointer to the "Setting Point" position. B) Holding the tester in one hand and the test rod in the other, insert the metal rod into the water until it reaches the black dot. Wait until the needle stops moving before taking a reading. C) Leave the test rod in the water and continue performing the pH test according to the instructions. src="https://cdn.manomano.com/external-resources/AAHKMJXYDAFdJAOAIMEbOAchMsjc3QZBtjSFHA9dqEpXPSB65XDJrhSVyThNg87jDURivsIQioVkU4HdlEVCOvmJqupLSMDI fZUAQ_v3XTYZwxYwvLYpRNbL-B2xWc_WZQ_hJ6vRmqFJ5Ws6R5UhYuRg3OSA2eqGGVFc3sQp RU-Q9jWGH-jZD2C-R5lKRwmpsTzU-nmRFK0N1n0q2_7zE9F9jOsGC6HMj3Y7dloo6OuVoA==" data-orig-src="https://cdn.manomano.com/external-resources/AAHKMJXYDAFdJAOAIMEbOAchlkWZ0oakZn_uVZ0mPidMNbILvCvspZ4oG3fPgIqc1P1qTCwk0Skse5taZXFf4fsx95PE7mn4UN9KFUcpXmRwsw==" />
