Wide measuring range, high accuracy – This sound level meter uses a high-precision electret condenser microphone to measure sound levels from 30 dB to 130 dB. Factory calibrated, it offers an accuracy of ±1.5 dB and a frequency range of 31.5 Hz to 8 kHz. It is ideal for noise monitoring in communities, home theaters, audio systems, automobiles, workshops, schools, offices, and factories. Multifunction – A low battery indicator appears on the screen when the batteries are low, prompting you to replace them promptly. The audible indicator lights up green below 60 dB and red above 60 dB, serving as a visual alert. Calibration – Step 1: Press and hold the SLOW/FAST and ON/OFF buttons simultaneously. After powering on, briefly press the ON/OFF button. The screen will display MAX to indicate that calibration mode has been entered. Step 2: Set the standard source signal to 94 dB, then align the measuring device with this signal. Wait for the measurement to stabilize at 94 dB, press the SLOW/FAST button to save, and then press the ON/OFF button to restart the device. Calibration is complete.
