Tips for Cutting Glass

When using a glass cutter, work on a flat surface. Practice several times on a piece of glass. The glass cutter will score the glass instead of cutting it. Never pull twice in the same spot, as this can easily damage the cutting wheel. The glass cutter is not suitable for cutting very hard materials such as tempered glass, marble, etc. To cut a mirror, it is essential to score the surface of the glass with our glass cutter, and not the protective film. If you score the film, you will not damage the glass.
