Installation

Open the cover and thoroughly wipe the prism with a soft cloth. Take a few drops of the solution to be measured and place them on the detection prism.

Gently close the lid to avoid the formation of bubbles. Place the lid over a light source and observe through the eyepiece.

Adjust the eyepiece until the blue and white line is clear.

Operation

The scale value on the division line indicates the concentration of the solution being measured. It is important to use the instrument according to the instructions and to handle it carefully to avoid damage.

Other Information

Do not loosen the connecting parts arbitrarily. Avoid strong shocks and drops.

Use a clean, soft cloth to clean the instrument, without immersing it in water. Store the instrument in a dry, non-corrosive place.

The adjustment range of the eyepiece and handwheel is 2 cm to the left or right.
