Description
Plastic queen trap for one-handed use and combined marking cage. Allows you to capture and hold queens during marking. Instructions for using the queen extractor: simply open the extractor's screened door, ensure the plunger is away from the door, place the device over the queen, and slowly close the door to capture her. Then, gently press the extractor's sponge plunger against the screen to hold the queen in place during marking. The grooves in the screen allow worker bees to escape. Once the mark is dry, slowly release the plunger and open the extractor's screened door to release the queen. This queen extractor is indispensable in beekeeping.
