Description
Plastic queen trap for one-handed use and combined cage/marker. Used to capture and hold queens during marking. Using the Longsail queen marker: Simply open the marker's grid door, ensure the plunger is disengaged, place the device over the queen, and slowly close the door to capture her. Then, gently press the foam plunger of the queen extractor against the grid to hold the queen in place during marking. The grid slots are sized to allow worker bees to escape. Once the marker is dry, slowly release the plunger and open the grid door to release the queen. This queen extractor is essential in beekeeping. Package contents: 1 queen extractor.
