Radiator expansion tank water bottle cap for ONE and 2001 to 2006 petrol

Never remove the cap from a hot engine; the cap may "fly off" when released and the hot coolant will burn your hand. If you need to remove the cap, cover it with a suitable cloth, lift it slowly to release the pressure, then carefully remove the cap. Do not put your finger in the hot coolant.
Not suitable for diesel or S models (large vent in front of the hood).
The extension cap is located on top of a plastic bottle in the engine compartment, at the rear near the windshield wipers and to the left of the battery.
A replacement water bottle cap for Mini One and 1.6 petrol models from 2001 to 2008.
Older engines use blue/green coolant. Later engines use pink coolant. Pink coolant can be used in older engines, but blue/green cannot be used in later engines. Never fill the cooling system with coolant, as the water will freeze and damage the radiator. Always use plenty of coolant.
