Non-destructive measurement depth of 40mm - The wall moisture meter emits a high-frequency wave that penetrates approximately 40mm into the masonry. The probe is 58mm long, with a measurement range of 0.0-100.0, a resolution of 0.1%, and the moisture measurement never damages the surface of the object. The moisture meter features dual alarm modes: audible and visual. Alarm thresholds can be automatically set according to the user's needs.
Note on use - Before first use, please open the back cover to connect the battery cable. Please recalibrate after each measurement. Press the "MEAS" button after turning on the wood moisture meter, and wait only 3 seconds for the automatic calibration to complete. Since hand moisture affects the measurement results, the smaller the contact area between your hand and the device, the closer the displayed value will be to the actual value. (the greater the distance from the spherical head)
High-quality HD color display - The wall-mounted moisture meter for materials is equipped with an HD color display with three colored analog bars and indicates the statuses "DRY", "RISK", and " The WET value is indicated by the colors "green", "yellow", and "red" respectively. The current measured value can be saved using the "Hold" button. It also displays maximum and minimum humidity values. The hygrometer can automatically switch off after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Tip 1: Wipe the surface of the material being measured so that it is dry and clean in order to to obtain the best results. Also, the materials to be measured (walls, masonry, and wood) should not be stacked or stored on top of wetter materials.
Tip 2: The wall moisture meter penetrates up to 1.6 inches deep, so wetter materials beneath the material being measured can also affect the readings, such as metal nails, workbenches, hands, etc. Make sure there is no metal within a 2-inch radius of the measurement.
