Description
With this wooden bat box set you can help native bats find suitable roosts. The animals need shelter to raise their young, especially from May to August. The boxes also provide a refuge for larger species during hibernation, from November to March. Grooves in the landing board allow bats to land safely and climb into the bat house. The bat boxes hang up quickly using the hook.
In spring and autumn the boxes can accommodate migratory bats passing through.

Tips for hanging the bat boxes
- Attach to façades or trees
- Fit the box as high as possible
- Recommended height: at least 4 metres
- Hang in a sheltered, warm and sunny spot
- Preferably where the sun shines in the morning and at midday
- Remove branches and obstacles within about 2 m
- Hang several boxes about 5 m apart
