It offers an economical alternative and improves the taste of coffee, tea, or other beverages. The water filter uses natural coconut shells as the raw material for the activated carbon. The food-grade activated carbon effectively reduces tap water hardness and removes impurities that affect the taste and aroma of coffee. The De'Longhi water filter has finer outlet holes to minimize particle release and remove pollutants, including heavy metals such as lead, chlorine, copper, limescale, and other impurities from the water. Essential minerals and trace elements remain in the water, improving the taste of your coffee. This water filter for De'Longhi coffee machines reduces limescale buildup, thus improving the performance of your coffee machine. Extend the life of your machine by keeping the pipes clean. Please immerse the filter in clean tap water for 5 to 10 minutes before use to rinse it and remove air bubbles. Note: The presence of black residue after rinsing is normal, due to the activated carbon. Rinse thoroughly, perform an initial filtration, and then use the filter. For optimal taste, it is recommended to replace the filter every 2 months, depending on the water quality.
