If you accidentally puncture the mat with a sharp object or severely deform it, discontinue use immediately. The package does not include rubber spacers. Convenient to use - The reptile heating mat can be placed at the bottom, inside, or on the side of your terrarium or vivarium. It is highly recommended to use this heating mat with a thermostat and set the temperature probe closest to the heating mat. As a safety precaution, it is best to place something thin in the middle to prevent heat loss and injury to the animals.
SLOW HEATING TO PROTECT AGAINST OVERHEATING - The slow heating of the reptile heating mat is designed to prevent overheating; it takes approximately half an hour to obtain an accurate temperature reading in the terrarium. In winter, cold glass tanks can lead to increased heat consumption; you can set the controller to the MAX position or place some thin thermal insulation film on the bottom of the mat.
REMOVABLE, MOISTURE-RESISTANT - Tank heater without adhesive paper. No need to worry about your tank getting ruined by the stick. Note: Do not cover the heating pad with non-heat-conducting materials such as wood shavings, coconut coir, and duvets.
