The Roughneck® Gorilla V-Series Axe is designed to deliver increased striking power while minimizing vibration. It features a drop-forged, hardened, and tempered steel head for durability. The axe's unique V-Shock twin-beam girder shaft acts as a damper, reducing shock and vibration transmission, which is further enhanced by an air-cushioned grip. The balanced design, with reduced weight in the shaft, shifts the center of gravity towards the head, improving handling and reducing user effort. An integrated nail puller allows for easy removal of nails, and a lanyard hole at the base of the handle provides a secure tethering option for working at height.
