Description
Safety valve with inlet and outlet, Flare 5/8-18UNF thread.
Suitable for low pressure applications only (maximum output: 50,000 BTU).
Suitable for gas grills, heaters, fire pits and chimneys with the same connections.
Specifications:
600mm thermocouple with M8*1 threaded head.
Knob 38mm OD bakelite, 6.1mm D shank.
Instructions:
1. Secure the valve to a plate or board of your barbecue or fire pit using the head screw and flange.
2. Connect the inlet and outlet pipes (tighten them sufficiently to prevent gas leaks).
3. Tighten the M8 thermocouple nut on the valve end firmly (check whether the thread of the valve end is 8mm before purchase).
4. Connect the thermocouple correctly to the threaded end.
5.Open the gas valve with the appropriate size knob and press the valve for 5 to 10 seconds until the thermocouple head is sufficiently hot. 6. Release your hand and check if the gas valve closes again when you release your hand. Check to see if your thermocouple is constantly heating over the flame. If the thermocouple end is well connected to the valve. Whether the inlet and outlet are well connected to the pipe. Color: yellow. Material: copper. Package Contents: 1 x Gas Control Valve.
