The sand filter system MZPP05 by monzana® is equipped with extensive accessories. The top-mount 4-way valve ensures perfect handling. You always have control over the optimal filter process via a convenient pressure display.

The sand filter system has a large tank volume of 12 litres; You can fill the filter bowl with filter sand or filter balls.

The supplied filter balls for sand filter pumps provide an excellent filter result and are recyclable due to the materials used. 320g filter balls replace 12 kg filter sand. The balls are easy to hand wash.

Please note:

1. Before first use, you must fill the filter tank completely with water, after that the sand filter system fills itself.

2. All external threads must be wrapped tightly, over the entire surface and against the direction of insertion with the sealing tape supplied.

3. To ensure proper functioning of the manometer, please leave the opening on the thread of the precision part uncovered.

Settings for the top-mount 4-way valve:

1. Backwash - cleans the filter

2. Rinsing - causes residual cleaning and compaction of the sand

3. Basin filtering - setting for normal operation

4. Winter - recommended position in winter months

Note for pool owners:

We recommend dismantling the system in winter, especially if there is a risk of frost!

• The connecting pipe between the tank and the pump is located in the pipe of the sand filter system's boiler. Please remove this before commissioning and connect it to the intended location.
• The filling aid must be removed after filling the sand filter system.
• When using filter balls, backwashing must not be carried out in our filter system either!
• If you use swimming pool hoses with a 1½ inch connection, you can cut our adapter to the appropriate hose size in order to ensure maximum flow.
• We recommend that you never fill the boiler to the top so that there is sufficient air circulation.
• Filter balls clean the water in the pool thoroughly, but the use of chlorine is also recommended to prevent algae and green discoloration. Especially when it is very hot.
