Sandpaper, sometimes called sandpaper or sandpaper, is a tool for surface treatment. It is used to smooth rough wooden surfaces to break up edges or to remove large portions of material. Additionally, sandpapers are used not only for wood, but also for varnish, metal, and natural stone.
Abrasive-Corundum.
Corundum is the most commonly used abrasive. Its important properties, hardness and strength, depend on the purity already recognizable by color. So as hardness and therefore brittleness increase with the degree of purity, strength will increase by adding metal oxides and the cooling rate when manufacturing the abrasive. Normal corundum is brown and contains more than 94% Al2O3. Its main applications are in unalloyed and low-alloy steels, as well as cast steel and gray cast iron, and also in wood, plasterboard, and plastics. Its strength also allows for high contact forces on the workpiece.
