SCART to HDMI Converter Cable, 1080P/720P High Definition Digital Audio Video Adapter

This SCART to HDMI converter transforms analog signals from older devices with a SCART interface (such as older DVD players, set-top boxes, and Blu-ray players) into digital HDMI signals, recognized by modern TVs and monitors. This conversion results in sharper, more realistic colors. **Main Function:** It connects your older devices with a SCART output (DVD players, set-top boxes, VCRs, etc.) to modern HDMI-compatible TVs or projectors and upscales the image to 720p/1080p HD resolution. **Ease of Use:** All-in-one design including a built-in SCART input cable. No separate HDMI cable is needed. Works plug and play, with no driver installation required. Powered via a 5V USB port (power cable included), you do not need to purchase a separate power supply.

**Specifications and Important Information:**

- Product Dimensions: Length 10 cm x Width 6 cm x Height 2.5 cm.

- It only supports composite SCART (CVBS) signals. It does NOT support RGB signals and does NOT allow reverse conversion (HDMI to SCART does not work).

- For optimal connection, ensure that your TV's SCART connectors are clean and free of oxidation.

**Supported CVBS Signals:**

This is the standard composite video signal used in older TVs and DVD players. Image clarity is average because it transmits both luminance and chrominance information through a single cable.

Older devices with a SCART interface that output this signal can be converted to HDMI with this adapter. **RGB Signals Not Supported:** This is an older signal that offers better image quality than CVBS. It transmits the three primary colors (red, green, blue) separately, resulting in a more detailed and stable image. Some game consoles or advanced TV set-top boxes have SCART interfaces that output this RGB signal. In these cases, this converter will not work and will not display an image. **Package Contents:** SCART to HDMI Converter: 1 unit
