Installation Connections: Connect the integrated SCART connector to the corresponding output on your source device (DVD player, console, etc.). Connect an HDMI cable (not included) between the converter's HDMI output and the HDMI input on your TV or monitor. Power the converter by connecting the included USB cable to a USB port on your TV or to a power adapter (5V/1A). Display setup: Turn on your source device and your TV. Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV. The image should appear automatically. No software adjustments are necessary. Resolution selection (depending on the model): Some models automatically adjust the output resolution (720P/1080P). If a button or switch is present, consult the manual to force a resolution. Optimization tips: For optimal picture quality, use a good quality HDMI cable. Ensure your source device is configured to output a composite (CVBS) signal, not an RGB signal, in its video settings. If there is no picture, check that USB power is on and that all connections are firmly inserted. Important limitations: Unidirectional conversion only: Does NOT work to convert an HDMI signal to SCART. Does NOT support separate audio/video signals (RGB, YPbPr) via the SCART connector, only the standard composite signal. Usage: This converter is designed for standard video signals. The final quality also depends on the quality of the original source signal. It is an economical and practical solution to extend the life of your legacy equipment.
