General description

12V 40A Smart Battery Support Unit and charger designed to both charge 12V batteries and provide support for the battery during prolonged electronic diagnostic checks and reprogramming. It is suitable for charging and maintaining a variety of VRLA, Gel, AGM/EFB, leisure, and lithium batteries. Safety features include over-charge, over-heat, short circuit, and reverse polarity protection. A temperature sensor allows for accurate charging of the battery even when cold. The compact design includes mounting holes for permanent fitting, and once fully charged, the battery may be left connected to be automatically conditioned and maintained. Additionally, it offers optional Float modes from 13.2V, 13.5V, and 13.8V to match the manufacturer's guidelines.
