In this case, this repair kit can help you.
The reinforced replacement guide is made of CNC-milled stainless steel and not cheap die-casting like the standard. The replacement guide is significantly reinforced and much more robust than the original part.
The transfer is really simple:
Opening the switch (clamps on the sides).
Removing the old, defective guide.
Inserting the new, reinforced version.
Put the switch back together.
