Product information

Description

MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS: This self-centering dowel clamp is suitable for woodworking and is best suited for creating various dowel joints. It can be used to make precise butt joints, miter joints, and edge joints, as well as for mortise and tenon joints. It is ideal for panel furniture and tools such as making shelves, cabinets, desks, tables, repairing doors, and installing railings.

Quickly drill multiple precise holes: Attach the dowel clamp with a drill sleeve to the workpiece to easily secure dowels that require precise right angles and accurate alignment; no measuring or calculations are required. You can even go further and mark and align the clamp for a perfect result.

There are 4 pilot drill holes on the top of the dowel jig, 2 of which directly accept 7/16" and 1/2" drill bits.

The other two holes accept replaceable threaded steel bushings. The package includes two 1/4" drilled bushings; two 5/16" drilled bushings; and two 3/8" drilled bushings. Easy to use: The large steel clamping screws grip the spindle clamp like a vise, and the aircraft-grade aluminum spindle plate securely holds your work without damaging your application. The solid construction of the precision-hardened steel center block provides ultimate strength and longevity; no wear during drilling. Precise positioning: This drill is easy to adjust and can clamp onto boards of varying thicknesses (clamping capacity: 7/16" to 2-3/8"), whether wood or round stock. Markings in the guide blocks and clamping hole dimensions are laser-etched.
