Presentation: This SikaSeal 110 Joinery & Glazing - Transparent silicone sealant will be indispensable for your construction joints. Suitable for interior and exterior use, this silicone sealant is easy to apply and smooth. Unaffected by weather after polymerization, it will resist the hazards of aging. It can be used for joints in new build and renovation projects, such as heavy and light prefabrication, glazing and mirrorwork, around exterior and interior joinery (wood, aluminum, PVC), curtain walls, etc. This product is classified A+ "very low emissions" on the index of emissions of volatile substances into the air presenting a risk of toxicity by inhalation, on a class scale ranging from A+ (very low emissions) to C (high emissions). In all cases of use, substrates and joint lips must be free of all non-adherent or poorly adhering parts, as well as of any products that may hinder mastic adhesion (grease, oil, dust). Application Comply with DTU 44.1, in particular, do not make joints less than 5 mm wide. Use a Sika FOUNDATION FILLER applied with non-cutting tools to avoid damaging the surface. Apply the mastic in a continuous joint using a manual, pneumatic or electric gun, avoiding any air inclusions. Carefully press the sealant against the joint lips. Then smooth with a brush dampened with slightly soapy water, if necessary, before a skin forms.
