Ceramic Dome Filter
Dome filters are made of high-density ceramic with diatomic properties. The surface of the dome consists of millions of pores with diameters ranging from 0.15 to 0.5 microns, with most of the material being between 0.5 and 1.0 microns in size. When contaminated, dirty tap water flows through the holes in the ceramic filter, trapping the dirt and debris before the water reaches the "clean" side of the filter.
