Installation

The shut-off valves are easy to install. Simply connect the supplied hose clamps to the fittings on the pool accessory, then connect the filter system hoses to the taps.

Use

With these taps, you don't need to work with plugs when replacing the filter cartridge or lift the pump, which prevents a constant flow of water when the filter system is screwed in. Note that the maintenance/shut-off tap does not replace sealing plugs if no filter system is connected to the pool.

Other Information

When closed, small amounts of water may drip through the hose connection, which is not a problem during pool maintenance.
