Self-test function and informative LCD screen: The device beeps and the red LED flashes once when powered on, and "888" appears on the LCD screen. Next, press the test button; the device will beep with a flashing red LED. It displays real-time CO levels and memorizes dangerous CO levels since the last preset. "Err" on the LCD screen indicates that the device is not functioning correctly. "Lb" on the LCD screen indicates that the battery is low and needs to be replaced. "000" will be displayed on the LCD screen for 3 seconds, then the device will return to normal operating mode.
