Always place the mat on the oven rack (approximately 20 cm above the coals) or on the lowest oven rack. The temperature must not exceed 260°C or 500°C. Clean with a damp cloth. Do not use metal or sharp objects, as they could scratch and damage the rug. Allow the rug to cool before washing it in warm, soapy water. Then dry with a soft cloth.
