Warning: Do not place directly on the embers or on the oven floor. Always place the mat on the rack (about 8 inches above the embers) or on the lowest rack in the oven. The temperature should not exceed 260°C or 500°C. Clean with a damp cloth. Do not use metal or sharp objects, as they may scratch and damage the mat. Allow the mat to cool before washing it in hot, soapy water. Then dry with a soft cloth.
